CENTER FOR STANDARDIZATION AND QUALITY CONTROL IN MEDICAL LABORATORY OF HCMC

 check and take over a scientific research topic at base level: “Research to product quality control materials to using for PCR HBV – HCV external quality assessment program”, chairman: Ma. Tran Huu Tam. The topic was the professional adviser of Ph.D, Dr. Pham Van Hung – Lecturer of HCMC University of Medicine. Acceptance Council president of this topic is Prof. Do Dinh Ho.

The main objective of this project is to produce HBV PCR quality control materials homogeneously and stably to use for external quality assessment program, help to reduce the cost for the laboratory. With that sense, the center studied and built the sample production process according to international documents with advice from the leading experts.

The topic was highly appreciated by the acceptance Council, the successful construction of the production process of PCR HBV – HCV quality control materials have practical significance very importantly and is a prerequisite in order that the center continue to product quality control materials for many different areas in the near future, it is also targeted that the center want towards in asserting their professionalism.
