GUIDE TO DNA TESTING PROCEDURE
DNA Test for civil purposes
DNA test for civil purposes is testing in order that you and your family know that DNA result have blood relationship or not. And only used for personal purpose.
DNA testing procedure involves the following steps:
Step 1: Customers register DNA testing
Customers will be advices carefully and accurately about DNA testing by counselor and fill out DNA testing registration form.
Step 2: Collection of DNA Samples
- Customers go to LOCI DNA testing center in HCMC in order that we collect sample or customers can collect samples at home and brought to LOCI to test (see in Sampling Instruction at home).
- If customers do not come to LOCI office, after sampling, customers send samples to our LOCI to conduct DNA tests.
When we receive samples, we will contact customer and quote DNA testing cost. And customer will pay fees through bank.
Step 3: Getting DNA testing result
- Upon receiving the DNA test results, please customers bring receipts of LOCI. In case you misplaced receipts, you must say the phone number registered in the registration form to receive DNA test results.
Loci can afford the DNA test results in the form of:
- Go to LOCI office to obtain DNA test results.
- Send a registered letter to the address requested.
- Send DNA test results into email.
- Notification by phone.

- Customers are Vietnamese over 18 year olds; please bring original identification (ID card, passport).
- If children under 18 years of age do not have not identification (ID card, passport); please carry on the birth certificate marked government, or hospital birth records of the original.
- Customers are foreigners please bring original Passport.
Step 2: Collection of DNA Samples
- Customers go to LOCI DNA testing center in HCMC in order that we collect sample.
- Customer must go to LOCI in order that we collect sample (not collect sample at home).
- When doing DNA testing, customer does not fasting
